Ryan Drury, Keltie Troock & Graham Metzger provide amazing support everywhere all the time for the MS 150 Bike Ride!

In October, the Crankin’ Albertans will be going to New York City to ride through the streets and tunnels for MS. The first Grape Escape MS Bike Tour was held in 2002 and the event has grown every year since. The Crankin’ Albertans know that the ride will be a blast and it will be tough. But, it’s New York City so that will make it all OK. We’re hoping that there aren’t a lot of hills that will slow some us down and tire us out! However, we know the reason we’re riding! We’re riding so that we can move just that much closer to finding a cure for MS. Our fundraising will be a part of this. We’ll be riding for Michele Crosby of Brooklyn, NY and other friends living with MS in our hearts. Our small part will make a difference. Our commitment is to keep ‘er rolling and have fun! We’re the Crankin’ Albertans.

Long time friends & high school friends, Alan & Tom are riding with the Crankin’ Albertans. They are riding the Cowichan Grape Escape for MS. They are imagining a world free of MS. Tom is a regular cyclist with the Victoria Spokesman. Alan is a Sleepy Headed Spinner and rides with Team Pronto of St. Albert, Alberta. This will be Tom’s first MS Ride! Alan rode with with Team Pronto from Leduc to Camrose in June 2007 and is committed to ride again in 2008.

We are the Crankin’ Albertans and we’re riding for MS from Alberta. We’re a group of recreational cyclists, runners & friends from Alberta, BC and Ontario coming together to ride the Cowichan Grape Escape MS Bike Tour on Vancouver Island in August 2008. After that, it’s on to New York City in October for the MS NYC Bike Tour. We’ll be riding for Michele Crosby of Brooklyn, NY and many friends who live with MS everyday! We’ll keep it rolling for them!

The New York City MS Bike Tour is one of the largest and unique one-day bike tours in the USA. It takes place in October every year. We will experience the thrill of touring Manhattan and riding through the Lincoln Tunnel – traffic-free. We’ll circle the City on the FDR and Harlem River Drives plus the rolling West Side Highway. We invite yout o join the Crankin’ Canadians Riding for MS and 5,000 other enthusiastic cyclists riding 30, 60 or 100 miles to reach the Finish. All money I raise will go to fund MS research and support services for people with MS and their families in the New Your City area.
